An emergency card that works without signal.
Hospitals burn time at the door asking questions the patient can't answer because they're unconscious, or in pain, or alone. AstroCare's emergency card is one tap from the lock screen and works even when there's no internet — cached securely on the device for the moment it matters most.
- Blood type, allergies, conditions — visible at first responder eye level. Tap-to-call emergency contact.
- Cached on the device, encrypted at rest. Works in basements, on planes, in the back of an ambulance with no signal.
- Severity-graded allergy markers (mild, moderate, severe, life-threatening) so triage knows what they're looking at instantly.
- Lock-screen accessible — no password required to see the emergency card. The whole point is anyone can.
No half-cooked numbers reach the patient.
A lab result is dangerous before it's verified. AstroCare enforces a hard boundary: a result only becomes visible to the patient after the lab doctor has signed it off. No misreading the preliminary number. No 2 AM panic over an artifact.

Whatever shape your country lets a prescription take, what the patient actually needs to see is the same: which medications have really been dispensed, by which pharmacy, on which day. AstroCare's medication tab is that — a clean, chronological trail built from real dispensing events that pharmacies log into the clinic system.

AstroCare is built to ship internationally. The full digital prescription chain — scannable codes at the counter, real-time pharmacy handshakes — exists in the platform and switches on for markets that allow it. In Syria, where Ministry of Health guidance keeps the prescription on paper (signed and stamped), that bridge is intentionally off — and the medication trail above is what the patient sees. Whichever side of that line your country sits on, the patient still gets a meaningful record.

What AstroCare won't do.
A patient app earns trust by being clear about what it isn't. AstroCare is deliberately scoped.
The patient sees their record. They never change it. Mutations happen at the clinic, with attribution, on the audited platform.
The phone talks to a dedicated patient API. It cannot reach the internal clinical network if it tried.
No analytics SDKs. No ad networks. No "sign in with…" provider. Your data stays in the path you can audit.
AstroCare does not handle billing, insurance, or money. The patient never enters a card number into the health app.
The emergency card works offline because it's read. Anything that changes the record requires a signed connection.
Patients enrol at reception. There is no "create account" form on the internet. The door is always staffed.

What is AstroCare?
AstroCare is the patient's window into the clinic — a mobile app where patients see their appointments, results and prescriptions, and stay connected to their care. It's the same system from the patient's side, so what the clinic enters once, patients can safely see.
What is AstroMED?
AstroMED is the complete electronic health record and clinic-management system that AstroCare connects to. Patients, appointments, doctor's notes, prescriptions, lab and radiology orders, pharmacy and billing all live in one secure platform that six clinical roles share in real time — replacing the paper files and disconnected spreadsheets a clinic runs on today.
Why move off paper and separate programs?
Paper gets lost, handwriting gets misread, and a patient's history is scattered across rooms. Here every order, result and note is legible, timestamped, and one search away — so nothing is duplicated, nothing is missed, and the full picture of a patient is always in front of the person treating them.
How does it help the clinic day to day?
The doctor writes an order once and it reaches the lab, pharmacy or nurse instantly — no runners, no re-typing. Reception sees the schedule fill live, the pharmacy dispenses and bills in the same step, and management finally has real numbers instead of guesswork. Less time on paperwork, fewer errors, faster patients through the door.
Is patient data safe?
Yes. Every piece of protected health information is encrypted, access is scoped to each person's role, and every single action — even opening a file — is written to a tamper-evident audit trail with the staff member's name and ID. You always know exactly who saw what, and when.
Where is the data stored — does it go abroad?
The system runs on the clinic's own server, inside its own facility. Nothing is required to leave those walls, and there is no dependency on a foreign cloud. The data stays on hardware the clinic owns and controls.
Does it need the internet?
The clinic core works over the local network, so it keeps running through internet or power interruptions. AstroCare, the patient app, uses a connection when patients check in from home — but the clinic's own system never depends on a connection it doesn't control.
How hard is it to learn?
The whole system is bilingual — full Arabic and English, side by side — and built around how clinics already work, not around IT jargon. We install it on the clinic's hardware, train the team on-site on their real workflow, and stay reachable after. Most roles are comfortable within the first day.
Can it grow with us?
Yes. The same system runs a single clinic or a full multi-department hospital — you add roles, departments, wards and beds as you expand, without changing platforms. It's built to scale from one room to an entire facility.
Does Glytch only build medical software?
No. Glytch is an independent engineering house — we build websites, mobile and web apps, and custom software of all kinds. AstroMED and AstroCare are our flagship healthcare work, but if you need something built well, that's what we do.
