Offline is the default, not the fallback.

A real audit trail
Every create, update and delete is written down — who, when, and which fields changed from what to what. Not a debug log that rolls over: a permanent record you can hand to an auditor.
Double-entry, properly
A genuine general ledger underneath the friendly screens. Journals refuse to post unless they balance, so the trial balance cannot drift — per branch or across the company.
Electronic invoices
Standards-based e-invoice XML with a tax QR code printed on the document, and a hash chain linking each invoice to the one before it so an edited history is provable.

Does it really work with no internet?
Yes — that is the design, not a fallback. Every record is written to the machine in front of you the instant you save it. A shop with no connection at all runs the complete system: invoices, stock, payroll, reports, printing. A connection only matters when you want several devices sharing one set of books.
Who owns the data?
You do, and it sits where you choose — on your own PC, your own server, or our cloud. It is a standard SQLite database you can copy, back up, and open with ordinary tools. There is no format we hold hostage and no step where you need our permission to take your data elsewhere.
What happens if I stop paying?
You keep every byte. Kairos goes read-only: you can still open it, look at everything, print old documents, and export or back up the lot — you simply cannot create new records until the licence is renewed. We do not lock anyone out of their own books.
Can I start on one computer and add a server later?
Yes, and the work you already did comes with you. When you first connect a server, everything already in the local database is uploaded — customers, stock, invoices, history. You are not starting again, and you do not have to decide up front.
Do I need internet to use it on my phone?
Not if the phone and the computer are on the same Wi-Fi. The desktop can act as the server for your own phone: scan a code and they are paired, with no server software to install and no internet involved. For access from outside the building you would want a real server or our cloud.
Is it actually in Arabic, or translated?
Native. The whole interface, every screen, and the printed documents — invoices, reports, payslips — are built for Arabic and English, right-to-left and left-to-right. Not a machine translation bolted onto an English product.
How many people can use it?
On one computer, as many staff accounts as you like, each with its own role and permissions — they take turns at that machine. For people working at the same time on their own devices you need a server, and the licence sets how many seats.
What about our accountant and the tax authority?
There is a real double-entry general ledger underneath, with a chart of accounts and a trial balance that cannot drift, because journals refuse to post unless they balance. Every change is in a permanent audit trail. Electronic invoices carry a tax QR code and a tamper-evident chain.
Can you change it to fit how we work?
Usually, yes — we build and operate this ourselves, so there is no vendor to ask. Tell us the workflow you actually use and we will tell you honestly whether it is a setting, a small change, or a bad idea.
What does it cost?
A yearly licence per company, with the price depending on how many people need access and whether you want us to host it. Message us with the size of your business and we will give you a number rather than a brochure.
